Brick Breakers (Tiny Game #3)
A downloadable tiny game for Windows
Summary:
Brick Breakers is the third game that I successfully completed in Unreal Engine 5, and it's a nod to early 80s style arcade games. I used an Epic Dev Community tutorial for most of the inspiration.
The tutorial I followed is Let's Make a UE5 Game! - Brick Breakers in Epic's Dev Community site, and you can build the same game by following the tutorial too!
Installing and Running: Download the zipped file, then unzip the file. Run the TinyGame3.exe executable file, and the game should begin!
Gameplay Directions: Congratulations, you just time-warped back to the 1980s, but took Unreal Engine 5 along with you. Just read the instructions on the title screen to begin. You have 3 balls to start, so click your mouse to launch a ball and break all the bricks on each level. You get another ball each time you finish a level. Don't let your balls run out, and definitely keep your eye on your paddle, especially on the later levels.
Controls:
- To move the paddle, just use your mouse.
- To launch a ball, press the left mouse button.
- If you reach the end or if you lose all balls, press Q to quit.
